ألانا: المغامرة الأولى

I was hooked from the first page when Alanna cuts her hair and decides to become a knight—the idea of disguising herself felt so real and brave. The pacing is perfect, with just enough training scenes to make her struggle feel earned. Already ordered the next book.

I was completely sucked into Alanna’s world from the first page. The disguise plot is handled so cleverly, and the training sequences feel both tough and rewarding.

Picked this up after seeing it recommended for fans of strong heroines, and the knight training scenes are exactly as detailed and immersive as I’d hoped. My only small wish is that the pacing slowed down a bit more during the quieter moments, but the disguises and friendships kept me turning pages.
