Reading this to my kids, they were giggling by the time the cat reached the bookstore, and the illustrations really capture her round, lazy charm. It's a short, sweet story that feels like a sunny afternoon.

The bookstore stop is my favorite part—the way she curls up on the warm doorstep perfectly captures how my own cat claims any sunny spot. It's a gentle, funny read that moves at the right pace for bedtime.
