Christopher ★★★★★

The olive cloth boards on this 1953 copy are in better shape than I expected for a book this old, barely any shelf wear at the corners. The Jean Charlot illustrations are lovely, and the color pictorial endpapers were a nice surprise I wasn't expecting from the listing photos.

The olive cloth cover has held up nicely for a book from 1953, and the color pictorial endpapers add a nice touch. I was hoping the dust jacket would be included, but the binding is still tight and readable.

Sebastian F. ★★★★☆

The Jean Charlot illustrations are the real draw here, and the color pictorial endpapers are a nice surprise you don't see in most reprints. Corner bumped slightly in transit, but the signed page is clean and that's what I bought it for.
