The magical story of a little rabbit’s first Christmas will delight young children

When Big Snowshoe tells Little Snow that the animals’ Santa is coming with presents for everyone, Little Snow wants to know who he is. The animals say they have never seen him. Maybe he’s a badger, a moose, a polar bear, or a wolf, they tell him. But this spunky little rabbit thinks they are just fooling him.

On Christmas Eve Big Snowshoe finds a way to see the animal’s Santa when a Snowy Owl in a red cap, swoops down with a pack full of presents. Never again will an excited Little Snow doubt that there is an animal’s Santa.

Ruby ★★★★★

My three-year-old asks for this every single night now, and the way the story builds up to the animals' Santa arriving is just magical. She giggles at Big Snowshoe’s gentle teasing of Little Snow, and I love that it’s a longer picture book so we actually get a proper bedtime ritual.

Nicholas E. ★★★★★

Little Snow’s worry about whether the animals’ Santa would remember him felt so real that my daughter gasped at the turn. The story’s gentle rhythm made it the perfect bedtime read on Christmas Eve, and she asked for it again the next morning.

Robert ★★★★★

My three-year-old sat completely still through the whole thing, which never happens. The way Little Snow’s excitement builds when Big Snowshoe explains the animals’ Santa is so sweet and gentle, perfect for a first Christmas story.
