Penelope ★★★★★

The way the story explodes with color when Max gets the brush was such a creative surprise. It held my daughter's attention from the first splash.

Matthew L. ★★★★★

My kid giggled through the whole "painted Arthur" scene, and the story’s whirlwind pace kept them glued to every page. The illustrations are bright and silly, perfect for a beginner artist like Max.

Sebastian M. ★★★★★

The way Max accidentally paints Arthur into a mess with those brushstrokes is pure comic gold—my kids were in stitches. The story perfectly captures that joyful chaos of early painting attempts, and the illustrations bring every goofy moment to life.
