1,000 Facts About Sharks

We got this for my 8-year-old’s birthday, and the sheer variety of shark species covered—from goblin to whale—keeps him flipping pages for hours. The photos are crisp, and each fact is short enough to hold his attention without feeling overwhelming.

My son can't put this book down—the facts about goblin sharks and frilled sharks are his favorites. The sheer number of facts keeps him busy for hours, and he keeps reading them out loud to anyone who'll listen.

My son is obsessed with the weird frilled shark fact—who knew those existed? The book packs in a ton of information, though I wish it had a few more diagrams to break up all the text. Still, it’s kept him reading for hours, so no complaints.
