I loved how Stamper captured the bittersweet feeling of senior year starting after such a big summer—the friendship dynamics feel so real in this next installment. The way each character gets their own chapter really lets you see their personal growth.

I was a little nervous the sequel wouldn't capture that same summer magic, but the way it picks up with the guys heading into senior year feels so real and bittersweet. Stamper balances all four of their voices perfectly, and the pacing kept me turning pages way past my bedtime.

The way Stamper weaves each friend's senior year struggles—like anxiety about college apps and changing friendships—feels so real it kept me turning pages. Perfect follow-up that captures that bittersweet end-of-high-school energy.
