往日已逝，來日可期

I was blown away by the weight of this story—it’s a powerful, emotional conclusion to the Logan family saga. The signed edition makes it feel even more special, like holding a piece of history.

The pen signature on the title page is a lovely touch, and finishing this tenth book after following the Logan family for years felt like saying goodbye to old friends. Mildred Taylor ties the civil rights story right into Cassie's grown-up life without ever losing her voice.

Cassie's voice carries so much weight in this final chapter, and getting a signed copy made it feel like a keepsake rather than just a book. I've read the whole Logan saga twice, but this one hit hardest knowing it closes out the story through the civil rights years.
