The lift-the-flaps are sturdy enough that my two-year-old hasn't torn one yet, which says a lot. Counting backward with the endangered animals has turned into our bedtime routine. Getting a signed copy at this price felt like a small win.
Bought this for my 4-year-old who's really into animals right now, and the counting backwards concept clicked faster than I expected. The signed copy is a nice touch, though the flaps feel a little thin for how roughly he handles books.
