Ash

Picked up the signed bookplate edition and it's even more special than I expected—the introduction by Holly Black adds such a thoughtful layer to this already stunning retelling. The story itself is haunting in the best way, and having that extra content makes it feel like a keepsake.

The queer retelling of Cinderella is so nuanced and romantic, and the signed bookplate from Malinda Lo adds a personal, collector-worthy touch. I’ve already dog-eared several passages—the prose is just gorgeous.

The signed bookplate makes this feel extra special, like owning a little piece of the story's magic. Ash is such a beautifully haunting retelling, and having Holly Black’s introduction adds a perfect layer of depth.
