Arthurin Alusvaatteet

My five-year-old has been requesting this every single night since we got it. The idea of Arthur trying crazy ways to stay awake really clicks with him, and the story keeps him engaged without getting him too wound up before bed.

My kid laughed out loud at Arthur's increasingly desperate ways to stay awake, and I loved how the book turned a scary nightmare into something silly. The pages have a nice weight and the illustrations really sell the panic. We've read it three nights in a row now.

The nightmares storyline is so clever—my kid actually giggles at Arthur's crazy stay-awake schemes instead of getting scared. The pages are sturdy enough for repeated bedtime reads, and the ending wraps up in a way that makes bedtime feel less daunting.
