Um Fato para o Charly

The page edges are thick and sturdy, which is perfect because my kiddo keeps flipping back to the box-digging scene. We read it three nights in a row and they actually said "that's like me" for the first time.

I love how this book gently explores the idea that a costume can be both spooky and true to yourself, all while digging through an old box of dress-up clothes. The Halloween setting felt familiar, but the message about honoring both sides of your identity was something I hadn't seen done so simply b

My kid, who has been struggling to find a Halloween costume that feels right, absolutely lit up seeing Charly's creative solution in this book. The way it handles both feminine and masculine identities felt so validating and natural.
