My son tore through this in one weekend—he couldn’t put it down once Ace got his B.E.S.T. enhancements. The underdog story really hooks you, and it’s been great seeing him excited about reading for a change.

The way the author describes the B.E.S.T. enhancements makes the sci-fi feel totally real—I kept picturing the tech as I read. My son, who usually hates reading, couldn’t put it down once Ace’s training scenes started.

I was hooked from the first chapter when Ace enters the B.E.S.T. program—the biological enhancement concept is so cool and well-explained for middle-grade readers. My own kid kept asking to read just one more page every night.
