愛麗絲夢遊仙境

I’d been hunting for a Swedish edition of Alice with Tove Jansson’s drawings for ages—the brown cloth cover with that gold stamping is even lovelier in person. The illustrations add a whole new layer of whimsy to the story.

The gold stamping on the brown cloth cover is even more striking in person, and Tove Jansson's illustrations perfectly capture the dreamlike tone of this classic. I'm so glad I finally found a 1966 Swedish edition with such lovely binding and page quality.

The translation by Åke Runnquist flows beautifully, and Tove Jansson's illustrations add a wonderfully whimsical touch to the story. It’s a lovely vintage edition with the gold-stamped cover still looking sharp after all these years.
