愛麗絲夢遊仙境

The oversized oblong format and Ruth Ansel's design really make this more of an art object than a book. Avedon's photographs capture the surreal mood of the play perfectly. I've never seen a theater history presented so beautifully.

The collaboration between Doon Arbus and Richard Avedon gives this book an incredible depth, and the oversized oblong format really does justice to Avedon's theatrical photographs. It arrived in pristine condition for being over fifty years old, which made my day.

The oversized oblong format really shows off Avedon’s portraits and the book feels substantial in the hand, like a piece of theater history. The binding and paper stock look like they’ve been cared for, which matters for something this old and rare.
